BEFORE USE:
1. Enjoy unboxing your new purchase! Remove all packaging and labels. Wash pans in hot, soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly.
2. For non-stick coating, condition before first use. Apply vegetable or corn oil and rub over the surface.
3. Rinse with hot water and dry off. Periodic re-conditioning promotes longevity.
4. Verify induction compatibility by consulting the product manual.
5. When frying for the first time – Add oil to cover the base; Heat gently, coat the inner side walls, let it cool, then clean with paper towels.
USAGE:
1. Select an appropriate burner size. Ensure heat only touches the cookware bottom. Especially important on induction hobs to prevent recognition issues. For induction hob cooking, avoid using the 'boost' function.
2. Lower heat after reaching the boiling point.
3. Exercise caution with oil heating; use low heat to avoid rapid overheating.
4. For uncoated pans – Add oil to cover the base before first use or after dishwasher cleaning. Heat gently, coat the inner side walls, let it cool, and clean. Add more oil, fat, or butter before cooking.
COOKING:
1. Always use oven gloves when handling anything hot.
2. Use Silicone Tools or wooden/heat-resistant plastic tools. Metal utensils can be used with care. Avoid harsh use or scraping over the non-stick surface. Avoid knocking metal utensils on the top rim of non-stick coated products.
3. Cooking on medium or low heat gets the best results. Gradually heat up for even cooking. Preheat for around 2 minutes for fat-free cooking. Avoid leaving the product unattended to prevent overheating.
4. If using salt, don't pour it directly onto the stainless steel surface. Add it to hot cooking liquid or food to avoid damage.
5. Place the product on a shelf or rack in the oven. Never place it on the oven floor to prevent increased cooking temperature.
6. When using under the grill, allow at least a 5 cm (2 inch) gap between the heat source and the top of your product.
7. Seal and season food on the hot surface before turning. Reduce temperature for optimal results.
CLEANING:
Always cool the product before cleaning. Avoid plunging it into or filling it with cold water when hot; excessive surface temperature changes may damage the product. Dishwasher safe.
MISCELLANEOUS:
1. Be cautious of high heat, especially for non-stick cookware.
2. Avoid letting cookware boil dry or leaving it empty on a heated burner.
3. Do not use damaged glass lids.
4. Be cautious of hot handles and knobs.
5. Position handles away from other hot burners during cooking.
6. Regularly check and retighten handles and knobs attached with screws.
7. Use wooden or plastic utensils on non-stick surfaces.
8. Discoloration can be treated with a special cleaner for stainless steel cookware or lemon juice/vinegar.
9. Avoid leaving food in the pan after cooking to prevent surface deterioration.
10. For non-stick interiors, it's recommended to "season" the pan before the first use. Heat each pan on low for 30 seconds, apply one tablespoon of vegetable oil, and rub it over the entire surface with a paper towel. Repeat after every 10 dishwasher cycles or accidental overheating.
